
Golden Phoenix Glutinous Rice 1kg

1. Pour the glutinous rice into a saucepan.
2. Rinse the rice several times, until the water runs clear.
3. Soak the rice in water for 12 hours or overnight, then drain.
4. Wrap the rice in cheesecloth or a delicate cotton cloth. Place the cheesecloth inside a bamboo steamer.
5. Pour 1.5 L of water into a saucepan. Place the bamboo steamer on top of the saucepan (it shouldn't touch the water).
6. Bring the water to a boil to create steam. Steam for 45 minutes or until the rice is tender.
